After a long period of reflection I decided to sell my '58 Panhead motor & transmission. Problem was it was over in England & I am living Stateside now.. I dreamed of the bike I was going to build for that motor born the same year as me but plans just got messed up in the move. I found a nice replacement in this '47 FL on Ebay this week though & I hope to document the new build here and in JUNK Motorcycle Magazine too. Happy Days..
Issue #5 (phew that means Junk has been in existance for one whole year now..) is out later on next week I hear from t'office. Not seen it in pulp yet myself & some of you will have it in your hands before I do as I am flying to California one day before it's bound and collected from the printers this time.. Enjoy!
Only a few days left before I up sticks for California to be reunited with my wife Suzy and believe me I'm counting the hours down like a kid waiting for Xmas! It's been a challenge for both of us being separated so soon after getting wed but we've coped by a bit of Skyping and a bunch of expensive cell calls.. Military families separated by distance and time you are in my thoughts now - may your reunions be as soon as possible - and happy holidays everyone!
Hey guys, Junk issue #3 ships this coming week - a little later than planned but - oh well, sh*t happens! Stay patient and I hope you enjoy when you get it.. Billy
I am starting a build & set-up service for R.C. airplane kits - fixed wing only - no helicopters! I have been modelling most of my life having started in the ''launch and pray'' days of single channel radio and free flight. I fly foam these days but it still helps a lot to understand model airplanes well - and saves money & grief in the long term.. EPO foam & balsa kits built and radios installed plus full set-up service.
